Favourite Part about being a Tennis Pro at the OTC!
Answered by ALL Pros
My favourite part is our members are great people. The sport of tennis is the best global sport in the world for a reason. It’s fun for me to help our members enjoy and appreciate their tennis more. Our club is an ideal environment to enjoy tennis and each other.
It’s the people, and the moments when things finally click.
My favourite part of being a tennis pro at the club is watching players surprise themselves. That instant when a junior suddenly competes with confidence, or an adult finally trusts their swing in a match after weeks of doubt….that never gets old.
My professional ethos has always been “A better life through tennis,” and I see that come to life at the club every day. Tennis isn’t just about improving strokes or winning matches, it’s about building confidence, routine, resilience, and joy. Being on court day after day, you get to know players beyond their forehands, what motivates them, what frustrates them, what keeps them coming back. When players leave the court feeling better than when they arrived, that’s success to me.
That philosophy fits perfectly with the club’s identity as “Your Cottage in the City.” The club is a place to escape, recharge, and connect. Where tennis becomes part of a balanced lifestyle, not another source of pressure. Whether it’s high-performance training, social play, or a casual hit, the goal is always the same: enjoyment, growth, and belonging.
At the end of the day, being a tennis pro isn’t just about teaching technique. It’s about creating an environment where people can grow, on and off the court, and where tennis genuinely enhances their lives.
