Har-Tru is a world leader in the creation of great surfaces for playing tennis. The OTC has 18 of these super courts, more than any other comparable club in Canada. In 2019, 14 courts were restored and new LED ligting was installed. Easy on the Joints, clay also allows for sliding and helps to prevent injuries, at the same time promoting good footwork and balance, so that players can continue in the sport to an advanced age. Tennis balls bounce more slowly on clay, which also promotes long rallies. The clay surface retains moisture, and it breathes, which means that Har-Tru Courts are significant cooler than asphalt.
With the extensive expertise and support of Canada Court (for nearly 40+ years), the OTC ensures that its 18 Har-Tru courts are maintained to the highest standards, providing an exceptional playing experience.

Quiet Time Tennis PASS
Includes use of our 18 Har-Tru Tennis Courts (no additional court fees), during defined times ONLY. Currently those times* are:
Monday to Friday, 1 to 4pm and after 9pm;
Saturday from 4pm until close
Sunday after 8pm
This is NOT a membership and as such does not include any other member benefits, including access to outdoor pool, discounts, guest passes, round robins, ladders, etc.

Additional Information

Formally known as the special assessment fee and/or the new member fee, In 2022 the Board of Directors approved a fee in order to help achieve the Clubhouse Restoration Project and to safeguard the longer term capital assets of the Club. This is to ensure all current and future members of the club contribute equitably. New members are defined as anyone who has not been a member since 2022. This fee is only paid once.
The board's overriding concern has been to keep the assessment consistent and equitable across all current and future members, including pool members, as follows:
Family Memberships - $350
Adult, Senior and Intermediate Memberships - $250
Junior Memberships - $150

For existing members (renewing) a small portion of your Membersip fee is put aside for Captial Expenditure ($30 for Individual memberships, and $60 for Family memberships).

Caregiver facility access is limited to that person’s time caring for the family’s children, and the caregiver must provide photo ID at the front desk to access the premises.

Lockers - On Sale on May 2, 2026
Lockers are available for day use at no charge or available for seasonal rental for a fee. Half and Full Lockers can be purchased at the front desk, or online. Members must provide their own locks.
Seasonal Rental Period: May 2, 2026 to November 2, 2026.
Half Locker: $60 +HST
Full Locker: $100 +HST

Members acknowledge that they have read and accepted, and will adhere to the OTC policies and values.
The club reserves the right to cancel without a refund, the membership of any individual(s) whose conduct is contrary to the OTLBC policies and values, or causes any damage to the club.
All members must be respectful and fair when booking courts, especially during Prime Times.
Family memberships
Include a couple with their dependent children up to 21 years of age (living at same residence) and a caregiver access card.
Caregiver facility access is limited to that person’s time caring for the family’s children, and the caregiver must provide photo ID at the front desk to access the premises.

For the purposes of 2026 registration, ages apply as of December 31, 2026.
Incorrect age declaration will result in membership cancellation by the club without a refund.
A returning member is defined as anyone who was a member of the club in the 2025 season. A new member is defined as anyone that was not a member in 2025.
Memberships are not pro-rated.
Guest passes
Guests must ALWAYS be accompanied by a member.
Guests MUST sign the waiver at the Front Desk prior to using the facilities.
Guests are not allowed during prime times on tennis courts
Each Guest is restricted to a maximum of three (3) visits per season.

Adult $25
Child $12.50
Family $40
Heat Advisory: During a heat advisory, guests are not permitted in the pool.
The Cameron restaurant, Courtside Cafe, and any other non-member activities are open to the general public.

Memberships, including special assessments and capital fund fees are non-refundable. A credit may be considered if supported with medical documentation. Must be submitted within one month of ceasing activity.
Programs, Clinics, and Swim lessons must be cancelled 7 days prior to the start of the class, to qualify for a Refund (minus a $40 admin fee) or a Full Credit.
If a program or clinic is cancelled by the Ottawa Tennis club prior to the start of the session, a full refund will be provided.
Should a swimming lesson be cancelled due to thunder and/or lightning, a make-up class will be scheduled. If no make-up class is possible (such as end of the season), a pro-rated credit will be placed on your account.
All Cancellation and Refund request must be in written form and sent to info@ottawatennisclub.ca. Refunds are issued to the same method of payment, if possible
