    The Cameron, located on the second floor of our historic clubhouse, is a relaxed, laidback neighbourhood spot serving elevated pub-style favourites made with fresh, local ingredients. Still family-friendly at heart, The Cameron features welcoming indoor seating, picnic-style tables, and our newly upgraded veranda overlooking the tennis courts.

    Enjoy your food in our beautiful courtside garden. We offer a full range of beverages, from refreshing non-alcoholic drinks to wine and bottled or canned beer. Our menu offers delicious baked goods and snacks, paninis and a variety of beautiful salads inspired by the flavours of The Cameron menu.

How Things Work at OTC!

    • Players must Brush/Sweep their lines at the beginning of their court time.

    • All Members MUST check in with the front desk prior to playing.

    • Clay court or appropriate tennis shoes must be worn. (No deep grooved tread. No cleats. Shoes should be small herringbone or flat-soled).

    • Wait to cross behind a court until they have finished their point.

    • Never cross a court (even along the fence) while a point is in play.

    • Do not run into a neighbour’s court - even if you’re chasing a tough ball!

    • If your ball rolls into another court, let them know. Once their point is finished, they will return your ball to you or let you retrieve it.

    • Please clean, brush lines and courts as necessary and respect court times.

    • To ensure all members can enjoy the clay courts and to stay on time, we kindly ask that you sweep the courts to your own standards at the start of your booking.

    • Please be respectful to the players on your neighbouring courts.

    • No alcoholic drinks on the courts.

    • Avoid using audible expletives or exhibiting rude behavior.

    • Be supportive of other players' efforts and play.

    • Children 9 and under playing on the courts, must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Children 10 to 12, must have a parent or guardian on the OTC grounds at all times.

  • Every Day, 9AM to Dusk

    • Limit your use to 20-minute sessions, to ensure all members have access to the practice wall

    • Please share the wall with other players

    • Club recycled tennis balls are available free for use.

    • No climbing on the fences (even to retrieve tennis balls).

    • The North half of the paved area is reserved for multi-sports.

    • At times the practice wall will not be available, as it is used for programs, events and camps.

    • MAX of 4 players on the practice wall at any time

    • MAX of 2 tennis balls at any time

  • Serving practice

    • Only available during NON-PRIME times on Courts 1, 4, 5.

    Ball machine

    • Only available during NON-PRIME time on Court 1.

    • Court 2 may be used, but only when Court 1 is unavailable.

    A Basket of Tennis Balls (club or personal)

    • Only available during NON-PRIME time on Court 1, 4, 5.

    • Guest passes

      • 2 Free guest passes (Individual Memberships)

      • 3 Free guest passes (Family, 1 adult)

      • 4 Free guest passes (Family, 2 Adult)

    • Guest Policy

      • Guests must ALWAYS be accompanied by a member.

        • Guests are not allowed during prime times on tennis courts

        • Each Guest is restricted to a maximum of three (3) visits per season.

        • Guest Fees are: Adult $25, Child $12.50, Family $40 

        • Each individual guest is restricted to a maximum of three (3) visits per season. 

          • i.e. Jane Doe can only come to the club during the 2026 season 3 times as a Tennis or Pool guest.

    • Heat Advisory: During a heat advisory, guests are not permitted in the pool.

    • ​The Cameron restaurant, Courtside Cafe and the Clubhouse are open to the public.

  • Item description
    • ‍Members acknowledge that they have read and accepted, and will adhere to the OTC policies and values.

    • The club reserves the right to cancel without a refund, the membership of any individual(s) whose conduct is contrary to the OTLBC policies and values, or causes any damage to the club.

    • All members must be respectful and fair when booking courts, especially during Prime Times.

    • Family memberships 

      • Include a couple with their dependent children up to 21 years of age (living at same residence) and a caregiver access card

      • Caregiver Access Card.

        • A Caregiver must be 16 years of age. Exceptions must be approved by the Executive Director.

        • The Caregiver must be on the Family Account, prior to accessing the club.

        • Caregivers and Parents are not permitted at the same time. Access is limited to that person’s time caring for the family’s children, and the caregiver must provide photo ID at the front desk to access the premises.

    • ​Children aged 4 and under can use the outdoor pool for free when accompanied by a paying adult member. The Adult member must be a parent/guardian.

    • For the purposes of 2026 Member registration, ages apply as of May 2, 2026

      • Incorrect age declaration will result in membership cancellation by the club without a refund.

    • A returning member is defined as anyone who was a member of the club in the 2025 season. A new member is defined as anyone that was not a member in 2025.

    • Memberships are not pro-rated.

    • Guest passes

      • Guests must ALWAYS be accompanied by a member.

      • Guests are not allowed during prime times on tennis courts

      • Each Guest is restricted to a maximum of three (3) visits per season.

      • Guest Fees are: Adult $25, Child $12.50, Family $40 

    • Each individual guest is restricted to a maximum of three (3) visits per season.  The exception to this is when they play with a member during our Saturday Wine, Dine and Play times.  Guests can play an unlimited time during these sessions (guest fees will occur).

      • Jane Doe can only come to the club during the 2026 season 3 times as a Tennis or Pool guest.

    • Heat Advisory: During a heat advisory, guests are not permitted in the pool.

    • The Cameron restaurant and Courtside Cafe are open to the public.

    • All Members MUST scan in at the front desk prior to playing – or it will be counted as a NO SHOW. 

    • Courts not occupied within ten minutes, will be counted as a NO SHOW, released and made available for last minute bookings.

    • Repeated no shows will result in booking privileges being revoked. Repeated no-shows will result in a penalty (members will be placed in the penalty box and receive a suspension from advanced tennis booking privileges for 7 days). Exceptions may occur for extenuating circumstances.

    • Courts 1 to 12 are 1-hour timeslots (but play is restricted to 55 minutes to allow time for changeover and sweeping of the court prior to play)

    • Courts 13 to 18 are 45-minute timeslots (but play is restricted to 40 minutes to allow time for changeover and sweeping of the court prior to play).

    • Court bookings should be made online (or calling) prior to arriving at the club.

    • Members can book courts up to 4 days in advance starting at 7AM. (i.e. Members can book on Tuesdays at 7AM for courts on Saturday)

    • Members can book Round Robins up to 5 days in advance starting at 7AM.  This is to allow unsuccessful bookers of Round Robins a fair chance to book other courts 4 days in advance.

    • Members must cancel court bookings online at least 4 hours before the start of the booking, to allow other members to book the court.  In emergency situations where the cancellation is within 4 hours of the start of the booking, please email info@ottawatennisclub.ca or call 613 730 7207.

    • Repeated cancellations are tallied automatically by the system.

      • 7 tallies will result in booking privileges being revoked. Members will be placed in the penalty box and receive a suspension from advanced tennis booking privileges for 7 days. Exceptions may occur for extenuating circumstances.

    • All names on the court booking must be accurate.

      Members must record accurate names on tennis court bookings and are not allowed to use another member’s name unless they are playing together.

      • The court booker can make name changes prior to the booking or inform the front desk upon arrival. You may change player names and convert singles matches into doubles and vice versa.

      • Members who violate this policy are in violation of the OTC Values and may face disciplinary action, including possible termination of their Membership.

    • During extreme heat weather, additional court watering may be needed to maintain the integrity of the courts. This may impact on the length of your court booking.

    Bookings Can be made up to:

    • 4 days in advance starting at 7AM. (i.e. Members can book on Tuesdays at 7AM for courts on Saturday)

    • 2 Hours on Courts 1 to 12

    • 90 minutes (1.5 hours) on courts 13 to 18

    • If two consecutive bookings are made, we Strongly encourage one of the bookings to be during non-prime time.

    • Booking three (or more) consecutive timeslots is not permitted. Should this occur, the Front Desk Staff will release the bookings after the second one.

    Prime Time Hours:  booking start times between

    • Monday to Friday: 9AM to 11.45AM and 6PM to 8PM

    • Saturday & Sunday: 9AM to 11.45AM

    (prime times may change during the season)
