Tennis isn’t just about perfecting strokes or winning matches, it’s about building confidence, fostering routine, developing resilience, and finding joy in the game. Spending time on court with players every day gives me insight into what motivates them, what challenges them, and what inspires them to keep coming back. For me, success is seeing players leave the court feeling better than when they arrived.” – Mykell Reifer

Throughout his junior career, Luka competed in tournaments across Ottawa and travelled to Toronto and Montreal for higher-level events. He reached national team selections and, in his senior year of high school, was invited to a Division I NCAA tryout in the United States. He continues to compete during the winter season on the UTR College Circuit in the U.S., consistently challenging himself against high-level players.

Luka began his coaching journey as a volunteer at Manotick Tennis Club, assisting with summer camps and learning the foundations of instruction. Within a few years, he progressed to running his own private lessons, clinics, and camps, coaching players of all ages and levels. Now entering his second year at OTC, he is excited to continue developing players within the club community.

Luka’s coaching style is high-energy, focused, and fully invested in player development.
